Oscar Giunta es uno de los nombres centrales de la música popular Argentina, con una carrera de más de 35 años en la cual se desenvuelve principalmente en la corriente de la música instrumental de orientación jazzística, aunque no de manera excluyente.

Como baterista y siempre en calidad de solista, han destacado desde siempre no solamente sus sucesivas formaciones como líder o co-lider (Quinteto Urbano, Oscar Giunta trio, cuarteto o Quinteto) si no también sus aportes a los grupos de Luis Salinas, Javier Malosetti, Ruben Rada y la totalidad de los más destacados músicos de Argentina y muchos a nivel global.

Internacionalmente , Oscar Giunta ha tocado, girado y/o grabado con el Wayne Shorter Quartet , John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Dave Holland, Dave Liebman, Miguel Zenon, Philip Catherine, Johnattan Kreisberg, Eddie Daniels,Paquito De Rivera, Tomoko Ono, Billy Cobham, Lalo Schiffrin… y la lista seria interminable…

Ha actuado también bajo las batutas de los maestros Lalo Schiffrin (Oscar Giunta, solista invitado estelar para sus conciertos de “Jazz Meet The Symphony” en el Estadio Luna Park de Buenos Aires). También lo hizo bajo la dirección de Christof Escher para el gran concierto de Paquito De Rivera junto a la filarmónica en el Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires (Oscar Giunta, solista invitado especial). Destaca también su concierto junto a Eddie Daniels y la filarmónica del teatro Colon, bajo la dirección de Eiji Oue.

Sus tours de conciertos por todo Argentina y a nivel internacional se han transformado en un suceso a todo nivel.

Oscar Giunta y su trio llegarán en este 2021 a Alemania en el próximo mes de junio para dar inicio a un nuevo tour europeo en el marco de las presentaciones internacionales de su nuevo trabajo discografico «Apalàp!».

El artista y su trio serán la cabecera de cartelera del Hildener Jazztage festival, junto a la WDR Big Band.

En este marco, el artista registrará su segundo álbum con esta formación, bajo el título de “Oscar Giunta Supertrio! – #OGSt! – The German Concert “. El álbum será registrado en audio y video por la WDR radio y televisión estatal de Alemania.

A su regreso a América, el artista y su trio iniciaran un extenso tour continental que los llevara por todo América Latina, para luego partir a Asia y nuevamente a USA.

Também o fez sob a direção de Christof Escher para o grande concerto de Paquito De Rivera com a Filarmônica no Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires (Oscar Giunta, solista, convidado especial). Destaca-se também o show com Eddie Daniels e a Colon Theatre Philharmonic, sob a direção de Eiji Oue.

Suas turnês pela Argentina e pelo mundo se tornaram um sucesso em todos os níveis.

Oscar Giunta e o seu trio chegarão à Alemanha em 2022 no próximo mês de junho, para iniciar uma nova turnê européia, no âmbito das apresentações internacionais do seu novo álbum “Apalàp!”.

O artista e seu trio serão a atração principal do festival Hildener Jazztage, junto com a WDR Big Band.

Neste enquadramento, o artista gravará o seu segundo álbum com esta formação, sob o título “Oscar Giunta Supertrio! – #OGSt! – O Concerto Alemão “. O álbum será gravado em áudio e vídeo pela rádio e televisão estatal alemã WDR.

Ao retornar à América, o artista e seu trio iniciarão uma extensa turnê continental que os levará por toda a América Latina, em seguida, seguirão para a Ásia e novamente para os EUA.

Internationally, Oscar Giunta has played, toured and/or recorded with the Wayne Shorter Quartet, John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Dave Holland, Dave Liebman, Miguel Zenon, Philip Catherine, Johnattan Kreisberg, Eddie Daniels, Paquito De Rivera, Tomoko Ono, Billy Cobham, Lalo Schiffrin… and the list is endless.

He has also performed under the baton of the masters Lalo Schiffrin (Oscar Giunta, star guest soloist for his “Jazz Meet The Symphony” concerts at the Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires). He also performed under the direction of Christof Escher for Paquito De Rivera’s great concert with the philharmonic at the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires (Oscar Giunta, special guest soloist). It is also worth mentioning his concert with Eddie Daniels and the philharmonic of the Teatro Colon, under the direction of Eiji Oue.

His concert tours throughout Argentina and internationally have become a success at all levels.

Oscar Giunta and his trio will arrive in Germany next June 2021 to start a new European tour within the framework of the international presentations of his new discographic work “Apalàp!
